AlgaBank information system

AlgaBank is a curated reference database of nucleotide sequences from microalgae and cyanobacteria, which is based on an extensive collection of monoclonal cultures gathered during the many years of work by the employees of the Laboratory of Molecular Systematics of Aquatic Plants at the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The database combines visualizations of identified taxa with nucleotide sequences and data on ecological relevance.
